Cheers!

Here's to my first blog post! Per the idea of my awesome Aunt Lyne (yes, as in the one I'm named for), I will be blogging to keep my people updated on my life. I hope I can entertain you with my silly musings, and I'll try to post pictures of my new life on occasion as well. A few words on my first two weeks of work:

1. Calculators. And MATH! I never in my life imagined that those algebraic equations would come in handy in my career as a musician... Well, I was partially right because there is definitely no sign of a + b = c / b - a = (I don't remember that part...) But there certainly have been formulas upon formulas, currency exchanges, and calculators!

2. Chaos! I have never had so much information piled into my brain at once. On top of that, I traveled to Seattle for most of my first week to learn about the company, and meet everyone. Flying first class and lounging in the VIP area did sweeten the deal quite a bit...

3. Caminar (to walk, in Spanish.. have to keep the C's going!). I have been walking to work every single day! It's 1.6 miles each way and I absolutely love having 45 minutes in the morning and evening to catch up on the phone, get some physical activity, and be out on my town. I'm sure I'm also developing some killer CALF muscles too!

4. Cuba. But I'll save that for my next post :)
